The tour covers about 30 blocks and 300+ years of history. Specific landmarks vary by route, but all tours pass by sights that give Charleston its unique charm – custom wrought iron gates, well-manicured gardens, historic mansions with picturesque piazzas, and the many church steeples of the “Holy City.”
Once the carriage departs from our stable at 14 Anson Street, the specific route is randomly assigned by the City of Charleston. All carriage companies are governed by the same system in order to disperse the carriage traffic more evenly throughout the city.
Our ramp and easy loading platform facilitate boarding. We make every effort to accommodate guests with special needs.
- Our surrey-style carriages seat up to 16 passengers
