Group tours typically originate from and conclude at Old South Carriage's barn, but we can also arrange tours to and from nearby venues. With 300+ years of history, architecture, great restaurants and shopping and our famous southern hospitality, your group is in for a real treat.
Our barn is located only one half block from the Old City Market, which has numerous shops and restaurants for your enjoyment. Might we suggest you allow time for a stroll through the Market before or after your carriage tour? You will probably want to pick out a sweetgrass basket to take home as a souvenir. Old South also recommends The Bubba Gump Shrimp Company located two short blocks from the barn. Bubba Gump's caters to groups and features excellent food, reasonable prices and a fun atmosphere.
Wedding & Private Carriage Tours:
Old South Carriage has Charleston's largest fleet of vis-à-vis (Cinderella style) carriages that are available for weddings and private tours.
Our beautiful wedding carriages are decorated with silk flowers and bows, and your guide will be dressed in formal attire and top hat.
